Pricing is one of the most important decisions you'll make as a companion, and it's one that too many newcomers get wrong. Set your rates too low and you'll attract the wrong clients, burn out fast, and drag down the market for everyone. Set them right and you'll build a sustainable, profitable business on your own terms.

Here's a no-nonsense guide to getting your pricing right.

First, understand the market. Research what other verified companions in your area and at your experience level are charging. On Discretion, you can browse companion profiles in your city to get a feel for the going rates. Don't just look at the cheapest. Look at the companions who are busy, well-reviewed, and clearly running a professional operation.

Incall vs. outcall pricing. Your incall rate is your base rate. It covers your time, your preparation, and the overheads of maintaining your working space. Your outcall rate should always be higher because you're adding travel time, transport costs, and the inconvenience of working away from your own environment. A typical outcall premium is 20 to 50% above your incall rate.

Duration-based packages work. Most companions offer hourly rates as standard, with discounts for longer bookings. A common structure: 1 hour at full rate, 2 hours at 1.8x, overnight at 4 to 5x. This rewards clients who book longer while ensuring your time is always fairly compensated.

Don't undersell yourself. New companions often think lower prices will help them get started. It won't. Low rates attract time-wasters, hagglers, and disrespectful clients. Clients who value quality and discretion expect to pay for it. Pricing yourself appropriately signals professionalism and attracts the calibre of client you actually want.

Be clear and upfront. List your rates clearly on your Discretion profile. Specify what's included and what isn't. Clients appreciate transparency, and it eliminates awkward negotiations. The clearer you are, the fewer time-wasters you'll deal with.

Review and adjust regularly. Your rates aren't set in stone. As you build your reputation, grow your client base, and develop your brand, you should be raising your prices. Track your bookings and gallery unlocks on Discretion to understand your market position, and don't be afraid to charge what you're worth.

Your time, your body, your business. Price it accordingly.
